In the beginning there was the idea of being a band we would like to see live and create the music we would like to listen to! In short: five musicians met in the south of Saxony-Anhalt at the border to Thuringia to found a band! The five of us already had studio and live experience in other bands at that time. Drums, guitars, bass and vocals: our quintet IRONBITE was born.
In 2016 we released our first record "Blood and Thunder". Regarding to our musical direction we don't like being pushed into a corset or even put in one special category. However, if a description is required, we would most likely use the term Hard'n'Heavy. This is not to be taken literally, because we're musically influenced by every single band member. How else could it be! These influences come from Heavy & Power Metal, Hard Rock, Punk Rock, German Rock and partially Folk Rock. From this wild mixture of genres and the fact of being limitless, our unique Ironbite sound arises which we absolutely want to share with the world.
Last but not least we have a completely finished album. It was produced, recorded and mixed in the Chemical Burns studios by Alexander Dietz. This album is included here and has to be listened to!
